Terms of use

Short, and in plain words: what you can expect from these calculators, and what you cannot.

This page was last reviewed on 24 September 2026

Using the site

The calculators are free to use, with no account and no sign-up. You may use the results for your own purposes, and share and print links to them. You may not copy the site's pages or rule files wholesale to publish them as your own.

Estimates, not advice

Every result is an estimate worked out from what you enter and the rules shown on the page. It is not legal, financial, tax or religious advice, and it does not bind an employer, a court, a ministry or a bank. What you are actually owed depends on your contract and the facts of your case, which a calculator cannot see.

Accuracy

Each rule names the article it comes from and the date it was last read against that article, and rules not yet confirmed are marked as such. Even so, laws change, courts interpret them, and mistakes happen. Check any figure you are going to rely on against the official source the page links to, and write to us if you find an error.

Responsibility

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on a result without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits a right of yours that the law does not allow to be limited.

Links to other sites

Pages link to government portals and other sites so you can check a rule or take the next step. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page changes, and the date at the top moves with it.
